Why use standard compliant code?

Standard compliant code saves you money.
However, most of the websites currently online are based on lazy and incorrect mark up. The reason for that is simple – most site developers try to save up on developing time, if they know how to mark up properly to begin with.

w3c standards  Most sites are based on a wild array of tags (sometimes called "tag soup") – a concoction of mistakes and semi mistakes that cause a slow fragmented loading of the page, and the breaking up of layout.
Have you ever surfed a "broken up" site that sports weird element positioning and stacking? If you have, unprofessional markup must have been the cause.

This is why the world wide web consortium (w3c) has set the standards for Html markup. In addition to a uniform and correct display, standard conforming web sites feature two distinct economic benefits:

  • 1. Search engines index standard conforming websites faster and rank the pages
higher – a fact which helps promote the site, and minimizing the SEO expenses.
  • 2. The concept of content and design separation helps minimize the expenses when
it comes to adding or altering the content of the site.

w3c standards  At Galor design, an Israeli web design & development studio, all sites are coded with standard compliant Html 4.0, with no added fee.
We use only standard compliant layout - Divs and CSS 2.0. No tables whatsoever. Our sites feature a complete content-design separation and therefore the cost of content additions and correction is practically nothing.

w3c standards  But that's nothing.
There is also Xhtml.
That’s Html's next generation.
A lean and muscular code, it delivers a long list of amazing benefits:
  • 1. The site loads much quicker.
  • 2. The site is modular, so additions and corrections can involve no extra fee.
  • 3. Search engines give significant bonus in ranking pages written in Xhtml.
  • 4. The site is processed in standard mode and features a uniform look throughout different browsers.
  • 5. The site can be surfed with portable computers and cell phones.

w3c standards  It is expected that in a few years Html will have given up its place, and all websites will be marked up in Xhtml. Using Xhtml ensures that your site remains relevant even in a few years time (future compatibility) .

An Xhtml site stands in the front line of web mark up. Galor design Israeli flash sites design studio will be happy to provide it for interested clients.
